Low Carb / Paleo Diet was introduced to me by my husband a year back. When he started following this diet, I wasn’t sure about what to make for him. After researching a lot got some ideas about this diet. Its mainly a Low Carbohydrate and High Fat Diet. Butter tea is so easy to prepare for breakfast comparing to our regular diet, making curry and idli or dosa.
Butter Tea, very simple to prepare for the morning breakfast to follow this diet. Since it has full fat butter and milk, this will not make you hungry for more than 4 hours. We always have tea or coffee with sugar in the morning to refresh our-self. Instead of having sugar, we are going to have fat.
The flavor is your choice in this butter tea, either add a tsp of tea or coffee powder. But no to sugar. Even butter mocha is a yummy flavor for chocolate lovers. Try my other low carb recipes to get know the diet in detail.
Butter Tea looks like a milkshake when you make it frothy, either bend it well with a hand blender or shake well in a bigger bottle or flask and enjoy.
Butter Tea is so easy with just simple ingredients to prepare for breakfast.
- 1/2 c Full Fat Milk
- 1/2 c Water
- 30 g Butter
- 1 tsp Tea Powder
Boil milk and water, in a sauce pan then add tea powder.
Let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Filter the tea with a fine strainer.
Add butter and mix it well or use a blender to make it frothy like a milkshake.
