Flax seed is used mainly for baking purpose or as topping for mutli-grain bread as a whole. Flax seed is rich in magnesium, iron, calcium and vitamin B-6. Mainly they are a source of fiber. It also controls blood pressure. Flax seed oil and flaxseed meal are a way to consume lot of it.
Flax Seed Meal:
Here we are going to make flaxseed meal that’s gonna be used in many more coming up recipes of mine. As of now I used flaxseed meal to make flax egg, that can replace egg in some recipes. You can find the flax egg recipe.

When making the flax seed meal, pulse it only for few seconds and give it a mix then do it again until it looks like meal. When you continuously grind, it will turn oily and wont look like a meal.

- 1 C Flax Seed
Roast the Flax seed in a heavy bottom pan until it pops. Stir continuously or it will get burnt.
Let it cool to room temperature and grind it to meal. Pulse it only for 10 secs at a time or it will turn into oily.
