And let’s start healthy by baking this breakfast Granola. You can make this ahead and store for a week in air tight jars. This recipe is slightly adapted from cookieandkate recipe blog.

You can make this recipe your way using ingredients you and your family prefers. I will just take you through the ingredients that you can use.

About the Ingredients:

Rolled Oats/Old-fashioned Oats:

This is a main Ingredient, since it gives a nice crispy and chewy texture to the granola.

Nuts:

I used Chopped Almonds here. You can use any other nuts like Cashews, Pecans, Walnuts as your liking.

Seeds:

I used Sunflower Seeds. Go ahead and play around using Pumpkin Seeds, flax seeds or any other.

Dry Fruits:

Dried Cranberry and Apricot was my choice. You can use other dried fruits also. This should be added once its baked and cooled for a while.

Salt/ Spice:

Fine Salt is a must to make it taste perfect. Cinnamon, Dry Ginger and Pumpkin Spice are usually prefered.

Sweetener:

Honey and Maple Syrup are great and healthy sweeteners.

Fats:

Oil is what making this Granola so crispy. Coconut Oil is a perfect fat to make this Granola.

Other mix-ins:

Chocolate Chips can be added once baked and cooled. Coconut can be added, when you mix the granola in the middle to roast it perfectly.

Hence you can use ingredients as you like it.
