In our Indian style paleo recipes, we have an important ingredient paneer. Its a variety of cheese that’s made from full fat milk. Out there are many interesting paneer recipes for paleo. Gayathri mam’s blog is very interesting loaded with paneer recipes.
But what if I carve for dosa during low carb diet, Paneer Dosa is very easy to make. When you wait for a normal dosa to cook for your son, this can be prepared. Add paneer and egg in the mixer grinder and grind till paste. Yup! the dosa batter is ready. Pour it on a hot pan and just cook on both sides in low flame.
If you want more spicy, add more red chilli powder. I added spinach while grinding to make it more healthy and love the green dosa.
To go egg-free, just replace egg with flax egg (i.e., 1 tbsp flaxseed meal added to 3 tbsp water, let it sit for 2 min and it in mixer. The below picture is a egg-free version of this spinach paleo dosa.
Paneer Spinach Dosa in just 2 minutes. Spinach is optional.
- 100 g Paneer
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder optional
Add all the ingredients in mixer grinder and run it till smooth paste.
Paneer dosa batter is ready. Just pour it on hot pan and cook for 2 min on both sides.
Serve with a low carb gravy or flax seed chutney.
