Easiest Orange Chiffon Cake Recipe

Chiffon Cake is a soft and airy cake that incorporates lots of air mainly using Egg Whites. Its so airy that just melts in your mouth. Here I have Easiest Orange Chiffon Cake recipe.

No fancy ingredients, its made with flour, eggs, vegetable oil, sugar and baking powder. Making of Meringue is the most important part of this recipe, since meringue gives the structure to the cake.

Easiest Orange Chiffon Cake Recipe:

Start with separating the Egg yolks from whites. Cold Eggs separate easily, but meringue needs room temperature. So separate the yolks when cold and bring it to room temperature and get ready with a hand blender to beat the Egg whites to stiff peaks.

Using Cake Flour makes it extra light. Make Cake Flour by yourself, measure 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour and replace 2 tbsp with Corn Flour. Here the corn flour is the reason to make it very light.

Beat to stiff peaks or until it forms meringue. 5) In a separate bowl beat Oil, sugar, orange juice, vanilla, yolks and orange zest. 6) Add Flour, baking powder and salt, beat it just until mixed. 7) Finally fold in the meringue gently, so that you don’t flatten up the air incorporated. 8) Bake it for 20-30 min, based on the pan size. 9) Serve it with fruits or whipped cream. How to make Cake Flour: Measure 1 Cup All-purpose Flour and replace 2 tbsp of it with Corn flour. Give it a mix and you are ready to go.
