Eggless Thandai Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cup Thandai Powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/3 + 1/4 cup Castor Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4-1/3 cup Milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C for 10 minutes. Prepare a 6" round baking pan by applying butter and parchment paper.
  • Add in flour, baking powder, thandai powder, salt. Whisk it till mixed.
  • In another bowl, add in butter and sugar.
  • Beat till creamy.
  • Add in curd and beat.
  • Add in vanilla extract and give it a mix.
  • Fold in dry ingredients.
  • Add 1/4 cup milk and if needed add more.
  • Pour it in prepared pan.
  • Top it with almonds, pista and rose petals.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
