Lately I’ve been obsessed with healthy desserts which in turn made me want to experiment with various healthy desserts. One such successful experiment is this Eggless Vanilla Pudding. A lot of you DM me on Instagram and ask for eggless desserts. So, here’s this little treat for you.
If we look back at the history of Vanilla pudding, it originated from Medieval Europe. Pudding was initially made using meat. Gradually as the time passed, it was updated to a dessert recipe. People loved it even more and now everyone across the world loves it. Pudding can be done using various flavors as per your taste. But, Vanilla flavor has always been my favorite.
This Pudding can be made Healthy!
Did you know that Eggless Vanilla Pudding can be used for weight loss programs? Yes, this recipe is totally for you if you love desserts but do not like unhealthy ones. It is a common notion that people think of weight gain as soon as they hear about Desserts. But, time has changed and there are substitutes for unhealthy ingredients. For example I have used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour and brown sugar instead of refined sugar. You can also substitute milk with coconut milk and cream! Guilt free desserts are a pure bliss. Isn’t it?
How can I forget telling you that I have used Ossoro’s Vanilla powder for this recipe. I talk about Ossoro’s flavors every now and then. My desserts are incomplete without using their flavors. All the newbies out there, I absolutely recommend you checking out their flavors and grab the best ones. Well, to be honest all their flavors are better than the other. Don’t blame me if you end up buying more than what you require. Because, I end up stocking their flavors more often. Shall we move on to see how to make this delicious Eggless Vanilla Pudding?

Eggless Vanilla Pudding
- 2 cup Whole Milk
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 3 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1/4 cup Sugar (add more if you prefer to be sweeter)
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ossoro's Vanilla Powder
Walnut Crumble Recipe:
- 1 cup Chopped Walnut
- 1/4 cup Wheat Flour
- 5 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- In 1/4 cup milk, add corn flour, salt and sugar. Mix till no lumps.
- Bring remaining milk to boil.
- Add in cream.
- Gently add corn flour mix by constantly whisking the hot milk.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add in Ossoro's Vanilla Powder.
- Pour it in glasses or serving mold.
- Let it come to room temperature.
- Refrigerate it for at least 2 hours.
- Top it with walnut crumble and cherries just before serving.
To make walnut crumble:
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until its crunchy.
- Make ahead and store in air tight containers.
