We all know that it’s not healthy to have these cakes more often. So, why not make healthy recipes for these cakes and have them daily? This is how you think once you are addicted to mawa cakes!

Ossoro Flavors:

I have alternated all purpose flour with wheat flour to make this recipe a healthy bake. As mentioned in the title, I have gone eggless for this mawa cake. I have to give a special mention for my most favorite Ossoro flavors. I have used Ossoro’s Kesar Malai flavor for this Eggless wheat mawa cake. The flavor is incredible. Ossoro’s flavors are much needed for baking recipes to add a little more beauty to it. These flavors create magic. Here is the procedure of making eggless wheat mawa cake. Take a look.

Eggless Wheat Mawa Cake

If you are searching for healthy bakes, this blog is for you. Here is the recipe of eggless wheat mawa cake. Beware, this cake is addictive!

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

To make Instant Mawa:

  • 2 tsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Milk Powder

To make Cake:

  • 112 g (1/2 cup) Unsalted Butter
  • 135 g (1/2 + 1/4 cup) Castor Sugar
  • 180 g (1 + 1/2 cup) Wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/4 cup Thick Curd
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Instant Mawa
  • 1/2 tsp Ossoro's Kesar Malai Flavor
  • 2 drops Ossoro's Cardamom Flavor
  • 2 tbsp Chopped/Slivered Almonds

Instructions
 

To make Instant Mawa:

  • In a heavy bottom pan, heat Butter and Milk. Mix well.
  • Add in Milk powder, mix well without any lumps.
  • Cook for a while to make a thick mawa.
  • Let it cool completely and make it crumbs.

To make Cake:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C for 10 minutes. Prepare a loaf pan by applying butter and parchment paper.
  • Whisk Wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • Using an electric beater, beat butter and sugar till creamy.
  • Add in curd and mawa. Mix well.
  • Mix in Ossoro's Kesar Malai and Cardamom Flavor.
  • Add dry ingredients and fold in.
  • Add Milk and mix well.
  • Pour in prepared pan and top with Almonds.
  • Bake at 180 C for 30-35 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Serve warm as snack.
