Sometimes when I am working all day long, I suddenly start craving for something sweet. Because, this is the problem that all those who have sweet-tooth can relate to. Having something sweet once in a while keeps us going. Not just for cravings, sometimes I feel super tired and drowsy when I am busy doing food photography or even working on some recipes. Those are the times when I make this Pink Lemonade Granita. If I think that I do not have much time to prepare, I will use the same recipe to prepare a refreshing drink. I feel all charged up instantly!
On some days I can predict that the day is going to be hectic due to a lot of work. At those times, I prepare this recipe of Pink Lemonade Granita and freeze it to have it as sorbet. Having sorbet calms my senses and helps me feel good. Not to mention that it is a great way to reward yourself once in a while.
If we look back at the history of Granita, it is basically from Italy and comes in various forms. Granita can be done using different flavors according to your taste. For this recipe of Pink Lemonade Granita, I have used Ossoro’s pink lemonade flavor. You can check out their website and shop any flavor that you love. They have a wide range of flavors which would actually confuse you and then you would end up buying more than what you planned. So, here’s how you make the crystalline textured beauty.
