Don’t you feel that this is an era of vegans? Here is the recipe of Vegan Mango Sago pudding that will astonish you by its delicious taste. Lot of people are going vegan for two reasons. One is because of their immense love for animals and the other one is because of the health benefits that it provides. So, I thought why not try a vegan recipe this time?
We all are hearing that going vegan is healthy. But, did you know what are those benefits? Let me give you some insights. It really helps with the health of heart and lower risk of high blood pressure. It also helps in the function of the kidney. Most importantly, it helps in losing excess of weight? Now that got interesting right?
In the last mango season, I had enough of mangoes in various ways. Be it either directly and in other forms of smoothies. That is when I started to think about how all can I make use of mangoes for desserts. And, vegan mango sago pudding was my answer.
Kids love Mango and anything with mango. If they are bored of having mangoes everyday, make this Vegan Mango Sago Pudding for them. You all know about the kids delight event with the theme of birthday party treats. And, this recipe can be used for birthday party treats as well which would lighten up the mood of kids. Mango has as much as nutrients of going vegan. Mango is again good for the heart health, digestive health, eye health, hair and skin health and what not! Let us get into the process of how to make this heavenly Vegan Mango Sago pudding.
Vegan Mango Sago Pudding
- 2 Mangoes
- 1 cup Coconut Milk (i used canned, u can also use homemade preferably thick)
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey
- 1/2 cup Sago / Tapioca Pearls
- 1/4 tsp Ossoro's Magic Mango Essence
- 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
- 1/4 cup Mango Cubes
- Cook the Sago in water until its cooked and translucent.
- Puree the Mangoes with coconut milk and honey/maple syrup.
- Mix it with the cooked sago.
- Top it with more coconut milk or cream.
- Refrigerate for an hour or 2.
- Top it with more mangoes just before you serve!
